Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Katowice, Poland seeks a Senior AI-augmented Project Accountant to support global project financial management, revenue recognition and month-end reporting in a hybrid work model with the office in Katowice. You will report to the Junior Manager - Project Accounting and collaborate with FP&A, operations and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in project accounting, revenue recognition, financial analysis, GL or related finance role.

Responsibilities

• Perform project accounting activities for assigned entities and units with accurate reporting across project lifecycle.
• Support month-end/quarter-end close including journal entries, accruals, revenue recognition adjustments, and analysis using AI tools to improve accuracy.
• Review project financial performance including revenue, costs, margins, backlog and contract balances.
• Prepare and maintain contract liability reconciliations per US GAAP, IFRS, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with operational teams, project managers, controllers, and FP&A to align operations with financial reporting.
• Support forecasting by providing insights, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for project accounting and revenue processes.
• Utilize Power Query, Power BI, Copilot and other MS tools to streamline reporting and automate tasks.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation with Digital Powerhouse.
• Contribute to finance transformation, testing, deployment, monitoring of AI-driven processes.
• Assist in implementing the IFS Cloud ERP within LFS, including UAT and post-go-live stabilization.
