Job summary

Nordea is seeking a hands-on Fullstack Developer for a permanent, hybrid role in the Group Technology team. You will build and evolve the self-service portal, integrating backend and frontend services with Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and Material UI across Kong and AI-enabled patterns.

You will collaborate with DevOps, UI/UX, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms, including future AI-driven features and cross-platform integrations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of the self-service portal and implement new capabilities.
• Build backend services using Spring Boot and develop frontend features using React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors.
• Build and consume REST APIs, contributing to reliable, maintainable, and well-structured service interfaces.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, developers, along with a UI/UX Designer and the Product Owner to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
• Contribute to future AI-driven features and integrations within the platform to cater for LLMs, MCPs, and A2A.
