Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking a hands-on Fullstack Developer to join the AI and API Platform Portal team. The role covers building backend and frontend services, REST APIs, and integrations, with a focus on AI-enabled capabilities.

The position is permanent and hybrid, based in Helsinki (Finland) or Gdańsk (Poland), collaborating across DevOps, UI/UX, product, and platform teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in CS, Engineering, Software Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrations between applications/platforms/vendors

Responsibilities

• Develop backend and frontend components of the self-service portal and new capabilities
• Build backend services using Spring Boot
• Create frontend features with React, TypeScript and Material UI
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal/external applications
• Design and consume REST APIs for reliable, maintainable interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform capabilities
• Contribute to AI-driven features and integrations (LLMs, MCP, A2A)
