Job summary

Jobtailor in Warszawa is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. You will check documents, classify entries, and post them using our accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role includes tax returns preparation (VAT and CIT), ZUS and GUS filings, and payroll support. You will engage with clients and colleagues, deliver timely reports, and contribute to a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
• Accounting degree required.
• English is mandatory; French or German is a plus.
• Accuracy, reliability and precision in tasks.
• Clear client communication and deadline awareness.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Checking accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy.
• Classifying accounting documents to correct accounts.
• Posting documents using dedicated accounting software.
• Preparing tax returns and tax information (VAT and CIT) and filings (monthly and annual).
• Assisting with payroll calculations for employees.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and ad hoc notes.
• Maintaining contact with clients and service providers.
• Carrying out other routine accounting tasks.
