Job summary

JUST ONE is seeking an Accountant to join our growing team in Warsaw or to work remotely from anywhere in Poland. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping, prepare VAT/CIT filings, assist with payroll, and produce client reports for an international client base.

Required: 4+ years in accounting, an accounting degree, and fluent English. French or German is a plus. A precise, deadline-focused mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of accounting experience.
• Accounting degree.
• English is mandatory; French or German is a plus.
• Accuracy, reliability, and precision in performing tasks.
• Clear communication with clients, strong listening and information-sharing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new skills.

For a well-established international accounting and corporate services firm that helps companies expand into new markets, specializing in mid-size companies (€5 to 100 million), is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team in Warsaw or remotely in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Checking accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy,
• Classifying accounting documents (assigning them to the correct accounts),
• Posting documents to the books using dedicated accounting software,
• Preparing tax returns and tax information (VAT and CIT), as well as ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) and GUS (Central Statistical Office) filings (monthly and annual),
• Assisting with payroll calculations for employees,
• Preparing reports, presentations, and ad hoc notes,
• Maintaining ongoing contact with clients and service providers,
• Other routine accounting tasks,
• Other duties reasonably related to the position held

Requirements

• At least 4 Y experience in accounting
• Accounting Degree
• English is a mandate - French or German is a plus
