Job summary

JUST ONE, a well-established international accounting and corporate services firm, is seeking an Accountant to join the growing team in Warsaw or remotely across Poland. You will check accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy, classify and post entries, and prepare VAT and CIT returns, along with ZUS and GUS filings.

Extra duties include payroll assistance, producing reports for clients, and maintaining strong client relationships; fluent English is required, with French or German

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of accounting experience.
• Accounting degree required.
• English is mandatory; French or German is a plus.
• Accurate, reliable and precise; deadlines must be met.

Responsibilities

• Checking accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy
• Classifying accounting documents (allocating to the correct accounts)
• Posting documents to the books using dedicated accounting software
• Preparing VAT and CIT tax returns and ZUS and GUS filings (monthly and annual)
• Assisting with payroll calculations for employees
• Preparing reports, presentations, and ad hoc notes
• Maintaining ongoing contact with clients and service providers
• Other routine accounting tasks
• Other duties reasonably related to the position held

For a well-established international accounting and corporate services firm that helps companies expand into new markets, specializing in mid-size companies (€5 to 100 million), is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team in Warsaw or remotely in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Checking accounting documents for formal and accounting accuracy,
• Classifying accounting documents (assigning them to the correct accounts),
• Posting documents to the books using dedicated accounting software,
• Preparing tax returns and tax information (VAT and CIT), as well as ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) and GUS (Central Statistical Office) filings (monthly and annual),
• Assisting with payroll calculations for employees,
• Preparing reports, presentations, and ad hoc notes,
• Maintaining ongoing contact with clients and service providers,
• Other routine accounting tasks,
• Other duties reasonably related to the position held

• At least 4 Y experience in accounting
• Accounting Degree
• English is a mandate - French or German is a plus
• Accuracy, reliability, and precision in performing tasks
• Clear communication with clients, along with strong skills in both conveying and receiving information
• Meeting deadlines
• Acting in accordance with internal procedures and processes
• Cooperation and care for good relationships within the team
• Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge related to the job

• Annual Base Gross Salary: PLN 110K/yr - PLN 170K/yr, open to discussion for more senior profiles
