BA Glass Poland Sp. z o.o. in Poznań is seeking an Accountant / Senior Accountant to handle general ledger accounting and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The role focuses on analyzing current processes, identifying improvements, and supporting the Financial Manager in daily activities while ensuring compliance with Polish GAAP and IFRS. This position offers an international environment, English and Polish language use, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• University degree in a finance or accounting related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in General Ledger or group accounting or audit background.
• Good understanding of Polish accounting standards and IFRS.
• Computer literate with good Excel skills.
• Fluency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger accounting.
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports to internal and external parties.
• Analyzing current processes and identifying fields for improvement.
• Supporting Financial Manager in daily activities.
• Analyzing financial data (balance sheet and P&L).
• Ensuring adherence to established procedures, best practices and internal controls.
