Job summary

ElevenLabs seeks a Poland-based accounting professional to own full books under Polish laws, align with US GAAP, and support NetSuite deployment for Polish requirements. The role is remote-first with optional office in Warsaw, serving a fast-growing AI company.

Key prerequisites include 7–10 years' Polish entity accounting, startup/scale-up experience, English at B2 level, and familiarity with NS is a plus. The role supports month-end closes and audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external partner to implement NetSuite for Polish regulatory needs.
• Report issues during/after implementation.
• Review invoices, bank statements, and journal entries for accuracy.

About the Role

• Maintaining accounting records in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and the company’s accounting policies (local statutory accounting alongside primary reporting under US GAAP).
• Working with an external partner to implement and launch a new NetSuite module tailored to Polish regulatory requirements.
• Reporting issues and errors during and after implementation.
• Recording and reviewing financial documents (invoices, bank statements and journal entry supporting documents) for accuracy, completeness and compliance with formal requirements.
• Reconciling account balances, maintaining the fixed asset register, and preparing balance sheets and financial statements.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT registers and tax returns (JPK_V7, CIT and other mandatory reports).
• Participating in monthly and annual closes and preparing the company’s financial statements.
• Liaising with external authorities and preparing documentation, including contact with tax offices, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Statistics Poland (GUS), as well as supporting audits.
• Monitoring changes in tax and accounting regulations and implementing the necessary updates to processes and the system.
• Contributing to improvements in accounting processes.

Requirements

• Owned the full books of a Polish entity under the Accounting Act (preferably 7-10 years)
• Recent startup or scale-up experience
• Based in Poland
• English - at least B2
• Bonus: NS familiarity

Location

This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Poland. If you prefer, you can work from our office in Warsaw.
