Job summary

ElevenLabs is hiring a Senior Accountant for a remote-first role based in Poland. You will manage the Polish statutory books and assist in US GAAP reporting, while driving a NetSuite rollout aligned with local regulations and tax requirements.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, startup/scale-up exposure, and English proficiency (B2). You may work remotely from anywhere in Poland or from the Warsaw office.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience owning full books under Accounting Act
• Startup/scale-up experience preferred
• Based in Poland with English at least B2 level

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records under Polish Accounting Act and US GAAP where applicable
• Collaborate on implementing a NetSuite module tailored to Polish regulatory requirements
• Prepare VAT registers and tax returns (JPK_V7, CIT) and annual financial statements
• Liaise with tax authorities, ZUS, and GUS; support audits
• Monitor regulatory changes and update processes and systems

About the Role • Maintaining accounting records in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and the company’s accounting policies (local statutory accounting alongside primary reporting under US GAAP). • Working with an external partner to implement and launch a new NetSuite module tailored to Polish regulatory requirements. • Reporting issues and errors during and after implementation. • Recording and reviewing financial documents (invoices, bank statements and journal entry supporting documents) for accuracy, completeness and compliance with formal requirements. • Reconciling account balances, maintaining the fixed asset register, and preparing balance sheets and financial statements. • Preparing and reviewing VAT registers and tax returns (JPK\\_V7, CIT and other mandatory reports). • Participating in monthly and annual closes and preparing the company’s financial statements. • Liaising with external authorities and preparing documentation, including contact with tax offices, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Statistics Poland (GUS), as well as supporting audits. • Monitoring changes in tax and accounting regulations and implementing the necessary updates to processes and the system. • Contributing to improvements in accounting processes. Requirements • Owned the full books of a Polish entity under the Accounting Act (preferably 7-10 years) • Recent startup or scale-up experience • Based in Poland • English - at least B2 • Bonus: NS familiarity Location This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Poland.
