Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking an experienced accountant to manage Polish statutory accounting in alignment with US GAAP, while coordinating a NetSuite implementation tailored to Polish requirements. You will file VAT and other tax returns, prepare financial statements, and liaise with tax offices and ZUS. The role supports audits and regulatory updates.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accounting records in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and the company's accounting policies (local statutory accounting alongside primary reporting under US GAAP)
• Working with an external partner to implement and launch a new NetSuite module tailored to Polish regulatory requirements
• Reporting issues and errors during and after implementation
• Recording and reviewing financial documents (invoices, bank statements and journal entry supporting documents) for accuracy, completeness and compliance with formal requirements
• Reconciling account balances, maintaining the fixed asset register, and preparing balance sheets and financial statements
• Preparing and reviewing VAT registers and tax returns (JPK_V7, CIT and other mandatory reports)
• Participating in monthly and annual closes and preparing the company's financial statements
• Liaising with external authorities and preparing documentation, including contact with tax offices, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and Statistics Poland (GUS), as well as supporting audits
• Monitoring changes in tax and accounting regulations and implementing the necessary updates to processes and the system
• Contributing to improvements in accounting processes

Location

This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Poland. If you prefer, you can work from our office in Warsaw.
