Job summary

FinanceWithin, LLC. is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead a pod of accounting managers and bookkeepers, delivering timely weekly and monthly financial reporting for multiple clients.

The role requires strong communication, GAAP knowledge, and a strategic mindset to ensure data accuracy and high-quality deliverables across a multi-client, e-commerce-focused environment. The successful candidate will supervise and train staff, oversee month-end close, and contribute to SOPs and training

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• 2+ years in a multi-client or consulting role.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Advanced level expertise in QBO and Excel.
• NetSuite and Xero experience a huge advantage.
• Experience with e-commerce clients is required.
• Experience reconciling Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com, etc. required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and key accounting activities for your pod.
• Perform and review financial package reviews and trend analyses.
• Manage inventory processes, cost controls, and reconciliations.
• Review AR/AP processing and aging reports for clients.
• Oversee payroll processing and related Journal entries.
• Provide ad hoc reports and client-focused details as needed.
• Coordinate client communications and escalation points.
• Train and supervise team on client and admin duties.
• Develop SOPs and training materials.
• Manage pod budget and maintain organized files.
