Job summary

Unikie seeks a Senior AAOS Audio Engineer to develop and optimize the audio subsystem for an IVI platform built on Android Automotive OS.

You will join an international product team, working across Android audio, HAL, and Linux layers, with colleagues who often work remotely and visit the office when needed.

The role requires hands-on coding in C/C++, Java/Kotlin, strong debugging skills, and experience with AOSP build systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in audio software development.
• Proficient with Android Audio Framework (AudioFlinger, AudioPolicyManager, AudioFlinger Mixer).
• Experience with AAOS audio components and AOSP build systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the audio subsystem for an IVI platform built on AAOS.
• Integrate audio software across Android framework, HAL, and Linux layers.
• Debug and investigate audio issues across different layers of the audio stack.
