Job summary

Tieto is seeking a skilled 5G-focused systems analyst in Poland to drive research and analyses across multiple cities or fully remote work. The role focuses on 5G systems, from RRM to radio physical layer, with collaboration across multinational teams in Poland, Sweden, and China.

You will contribute to standards, drive innovations, and support deployment of new 5G products into customer networks, while leveraging strong English communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Background in communications theory.
• Knowledge of 5G specifications, especially in L1/L2, digital signal processing, and radio resource management.
• Analytical mindset, high capacity, result-oriented and ability to deliver under pressure.
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, because of the English-speaking work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and contribute to systems studies in 5G in Radio Resource Management (e.g., Scheduling, Link Adaptation, Beam Forming, Carrier Aggregation, Fast Cell Coordination) and the Radio Physical Layer.
• Work collaboratively on new features, simulations, and improvements with cross-functional development teams.
• Contribute to advances in 5G Standards.
• Contribute to innovation and IPR by filing invention disclosures and patents.
• Support the deployment of new 5G products and features into customer networks; understand customer configurations and issues.
