Job summary

Ericsson in Kraków is seeking a Baseband Software Tester to join a team driving 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software development. You will test, integrate, and verify sophisticated algorithms in real-time, lab and end-to-end environments with cross-functional partners.

The role offers a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days from home weekly) and exposure to international projects. Strong testing, automation, and Linux development skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of NR system design, node verification, and RAN troubleshooting.
• Experience in software testing, test automation, and scripting (Python/C++/Java).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and development tools (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
• Understanding NR Baseband architecture and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test solutions for feature verification and CI.
• Verify and improve quality of 5G Baseband and Cloud RAN software in simulated/end-to-end setups.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and drive product quality improvements.
• Contribute to documentation and automation framework improvements.
• Ensure test environments and automation are ready for software deliveries.
