Job summary

Beffio Studio is seeking a Senior 3D Character Artist to design stylized characters for games, from concept to in-engine implementation, collaborating with concept artists, animators, and technical artists. This is a senior, hands-on role in an international, remote-friendly team.

You will create production-ready characters, ensuring strong silhouettes, cohesive visual language, and effectiveness in real-time engines, including Unity3D.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Character Artist in game development.
• Portfolio showing high-quality stylized 3D characters.
• Strong fundamentals in anatomy, stylized proportions, color, and shape language.
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter or equivalent.
• Experience delivering characters for real-time game engines.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality stylized 3D characters with strong silhouettes.
• Model, sculpt, UV, texture, and refine through production.
• Translate 2D concepts into 3D while preserving intent.
• Ensure characters deform well with rigging/animation teams.
• In-engine integration and collaboration with team.
