Job summary

Beffio Studio is seeking a seasoned Character Art Director for a stylized, character-driven game project. The role combines hands-on design with creative leadership across US and European hubs, ensuring a cohesive visual language and memorable character personalities.

You will mentor artists, set quality standards, and collaborate closely with animators and designers to deliver expressive silhouettes, distinctive identities, and emotionally engaging characters for a mobile/game collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in game art with senior leadership roles (Character Art Director / Art Director / Lead).
• Strong portfolio of stylized character design with personality and appeal.
• Excellent English and ability to collaborate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a cohesive visual direction for stylized characters.
• Lead and mentor character artists; provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, and leadership across US/Europe studios.
• Guide character development from concept to in-game presentation.
• Establish quality benchmarks and visual guidelines for consistency.
