Job summary

Playtika is seeking a senior 3D Character Animator to lead animation for a new mobile title. You’ll animate a lively cast, shaping personality through movement, gestures, and expressions, while ensuring interactions fit gameplay and boost engagement.

You’ll collaborate with design and art teams, own the animation pipeline, and adapt work for various mobile devices. Strong portfolio and expertise in Unity and rigging are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a 3D Character Animator or similar role in mobile and/or AAA gaming.
• Strong portfolio showing high‑quality animations for mobile and/or AAA titles from concept to in‑game execution.
• Expert in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Spine, Unity and other animation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D character animation from concept to final implementation for a lively cast of characters.
• Create visually appealing animations aligned with the game’s direction and brand identity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, artists, and developers for seamless integration in the game engine.
• Build a library of animations for research and future implementations.
• Work with the art director to maintain visual consistency and overall aesthetic quality.
• Optimize animations for different screen resolutions and mobile platforms.
