Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software reliability.
Manage a complex code base, successfully navigating and updating legacy systems.
Improve existing code by applying TDD techniques and strictly following SOLID design principles.
Resolve functional issues by effectively debugging code and analyzing system performance.
Actively participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality engineering standards.
Prepare and update necessary technical documentation.
Present completed software increments to internal stakeholders and external users.
Track current software engineering trends and share best practices with your colleagues.

At least 5 years of commercial experience coding in C++.
Strong problem-solving skills backed by a solid understanding of algorithms and SOLID principles.
Proven ability to create cross-platform applications for both Windows and Linux.
Hands-on experience maintaining and refactoring legacy code.
Proficiency in SQL, version control with Git, and containerization using Docker.
Familiarity with Unix fundamentals, including writing shell scripts.
Practical knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, specifically working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Previous experience collaborating in distributed, global teams.
Fluent English skills (both written and verbal) for seamless daily communication.
Nice to have: Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, ActiveMQ), microservices architecture, Kubernetes, API design (REST/gRPC), or tools supporting LLM-assisted coding.
