Job summary

Jobtailor in Wrocław is seeking a Java backend engineer to develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, design and consume RESTful APIs, and contribute to BPM workflows. You will learn and work with AWS EC2/S3, build test automation with Playwright and Java, and support CI/CD with GitHub and Jenkins, while following clean code practices in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of Java; Java 17+ preferred.
Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals.
Understanding of Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Knowledge of OOP principles.
Basic understanding of RESTful API development.
Clean code practices.
Experience with at least one framework: Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
Understanding of test design principles.
Proficiency in Polish and English is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
Assist in developing and maintaining Business Process Management workflows.
Learn and work with AWS services such as EC2 and S3.
Develop and maintain test automation solutions using Playwright and Java.
Write clean, maintainable code following framework patterns and best practices.
Execute comprehensive testing for new features and system changes.
Collaborate with engineers to design and implement automation scenarios.
Debug failures and investigate system issues.
Support CI/CD processes using GitHub and Jenkins.
Monitor application performance using Datadog and Elasticsearch under senior engineer guidance.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with team support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.
Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
