Job summary

FlixBus is seeking an experienced Security Engineer (m/f/d) to support a project-based engagement. The role focuses on client-side security, incident response automation, and security tooling across FlixBus's technology environment.

You will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and software teams to enhance FlixBus's security posture, reduce manual operations, and deliver concrete improvements to detections and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with client security applications and phishing mitigation.
• Hands-on incident response and service desk ticket handling.
• Proficient Python for automation and secure coding.
• Experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure client security tools with internal security team.
• Automate incident response and security workflows using Python.
• Support incident response for client-side security events.
• Review security measures and improve detections and runbooks.
