Job summary

Flix is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support a project-based service agreement. The consultant will specialize in client-side security, incident response automation, and security tooling to strengthen Flix's security posture.

The role involves collaborating with security, infrastructure, and software engineers, as well as business stakeholders to reduce manual security operations and improve protections across the technology environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with client security applications (email security, phishing mitigation).
• Hands-on incident response experience and service desk ticket handling.
• Strong Python skills focused on automation code.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure client security tools (email security, access management, asset protection) with internal security team.
• Automate incident response workflows using Python to reduce manual effort.
• Support incident response for client-side security events in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Review existing security measures and provide concrete recommendations for detections and runbooks.
