Job summary

Flix is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support on a project basis. The consultant will focus on client-side security, incident response automation, and security tooling across Flix's technology environment.

You will work with security, infra, and software engineers, as well as business stakeholders to improve security and reduce manual operations. Strong Python skills and experience with SIEM are required, and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with client security applications including email security and endpoint protection.
• Hands-on incident response and service desk ticket handling experience.
• Proficient in Python with clean, maintainable automation code.
• Experience with monitoring/SIEM tools like Splunk, ElasticSearch, or Datadog.
• Strong collaboration and communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• English language proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure client security tools with internal security team.
• Automate incident response workflows using Python to reduce manual effort.
• Support incident response for client-side security events in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Review existing security measures and contribute recommendations for detections and runbooks.
