Imunify360, a leading Linux infrastructure and security solutions firm, seeks an engineer-architect to build a new runtime protection layer for Node.js applications. This is a 100% remote, high-ownership role where you will define architecture, implement protection, and ship the MVP in production.

You will work independently to craft an MVP that runs without client code changes, while balancing performance and security.

Qualificações

• Security engineering or security research with deep understanding of attack vectors and defense methods.
• End-to-end ownership: from idea to production with minimal supervision.
• Ability to define solutions for ambiguous problems and deliver working results.
• Experience designing architecture and making key technical decisions (Staff/Architect level a strong plus).
• English at least Intermediate (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Define the technical approach for building runtime protection inside the Node.js process.
• Design the detection logic to identify and block attacks during application execution.
• Build and launch the first version of the product in real production environments.
• Ensure protection works without requiring changes to client code and without breaking legitimate apps.
• Continuously improve the product based on telemetry, production feedback, and real-world incidents.
• Achieve target values across four metrics: runtime overhead, false positives, false negatives, customer escalation volume.
