CloudLinux is a remote-first company building Imunify360, a multi-layer security suite for Linux servers. Staff Engineers will lead architecture, define standards, and drive cross-squad initiatives while spending 30-50% of time writing production code.

You will mentor engineers and influence product and release decisions across diverse Linux environments. The role emphasizes global, remote collaboration with a strong focus on scalable architecture, performance, security, and operational

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production software.
• Strong production experience in Python and at least one of Go or Rust.
• Deep Linux internals: processes, filesystems, networking, kernel interfaces (inotify/fanotify, eBPF or similar).
• Track record of designing and running distributed systems at scale.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end architecture of Imunify360 including agent, server, cloud backends, data flows and contracts.
• Write ADRs and RFCs for cross-squad changes and run architecture syncs.
• Maintain living risk and security/deployment debt register with owners and dates.
