Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and scale robust infrastructure and deployment pipelines across cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD automation and Azure cloud architecture to drive reliability, speed and operational excellence across our engineering teams. You will design end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes clusters, implement pipeline-as-code, and optimize cost and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps engineering or similar role.
• Python automation scripting expertise.
• Kubernetes expertise: cluster management, Helm, service mesh Istio.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
• GitLab CI/CD with multi-stage pipelines and shared runners.
• Azure services knowledge: AKS, Azure DevOps, VNets.
• IAM/RBAC and Key Vault experience.
• Cloud architecture and cost optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for reliability and speed.
• Manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters, including pod orchestration and mesh configs.
• Develop automation scripts and infra tooling with Python.
• Build multi-stage GitLab CI/CD pipelines using templates, runners and artifacts.
• Architect and optimize Azure cloud infra including AKS networking and IAM/RBAC.
• Apply pipeline-as-code best practices across projects.
• Deploy and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes workloads.
• Ensure cost optimization and scalability of cloud architecture.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments.
