Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and lead automation across multiple projects. You will implement modern DevOps practices and contribute to the evolution of our cloud-native platform.

You will automate infrastructure using Terraform, manage GitLab-based pipelines, and deploy workloads across AWS and Azure while maintaining strict security standards and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps or platform engineering roles.
• Proven experience building and operating cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Automate full-stack infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab workflows.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to enable fast, secure deployment.
• Deploy and manage workloads in AWS ECS/EKS and Azure AKS.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with external teams to align with security and business goals.
• Follow corporate processes and best practices.
• Continuously improve systems through automation and optimization.
• Work across multiple projects with varied architectures.
