Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced SDET specialising in JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright to join our engineering team in Poland. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests across API, functional and performance areas, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with test managers, product owners, and developers to ensure traceability to requirements, create robust test scripts, and maintain test artifacts in Jira/Confluence and other tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript test automation.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright.
• Understanding of API testing, mocking, and contract validation.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining traceability in test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with test managers and product owners to understand test plans and approaches.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests covering functional and non-functional aspects.
• Maintain component-level test suites with mocks and contracts for isolated testing.
• Plan, execute, and analyze performance and load tests to assess scalability and stability.
