Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Manual and Full Stack Automation Tester – JavaScript for a fully remote role in Poland. You will perform manual and automated testing with JavaScript/TypeScript, build and run tests, and validate REST APIs and databases.

You’ll collaborate with international teams to deliver high-quality software. The role requires 3+ years in QA, strong communication, and experience with CI/CD and Jira/QMetry/TestRail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software QA and automated testing using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven experience in manual testing and REST API testing with SQL validation.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Experience testing frontend, microservices, or serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of applications.
• Build test cases from user stories and business requirements.
• Program and debug automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright (or similar).
• Validate REST APIs and perform database checks with SQL.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams and support TDD practices.
• Log, track and report defects promptly and accurately.
• Review teammates' tests and suggest tooling improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues when needed.
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools and technologies.
