Talan is seeking an experienced SAP TM Architect/Consultant to design, implement, and optimize transportation management solutions. This permanent role shapes the TM landscape, driving innovation and ensuring successful delivery in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will support requirements gathering, design scalable solutions, and apply best practices within SAP TM. This is a senior role with significant impact on operations and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on SAP TM Consultant/Architect experience.
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP TM implementations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM solutions.
• Perform business process analysis and translate requirements into specs and designs.
• Provide guidance on SAP TM functionalities (Freight Order, Freight Settlement, Charge Management, Planning).
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations (ECC/S4HANA, EWM, EM, GTS) and data migration.
• Conduct testing (SIT/UAT) and train end-users.
• Troubleshoot SAP TM issues and support system enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including specs, configs, and test plans.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Architect/Consultant to design, implement, and optimize robust transportation management solutions.

In this permanent role, you will be instrumental in shaping the transportation management landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement best practices within the SAP TM framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Conduct detailed business process analysis and translate complex requirements into functional specifications and system designs.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP TM functionalities, including freight order management, freight settlement, charge management, and transportation planning.
• Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations (e.g., with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, EWM, EM, GTS), and data migration activities.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and provide training to end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP TM issues, providing ongoing support and system enhancements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, staying current with SAP TM innovations and industry trends to recommend strategic improvements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP TM Consultant or Architect.
• Proven expertise in multiple SAP TM modules and functionalities (e.g., Freight Order, Freight Settlement, Charge Management, Planning, Optimization).
• Strong understanding of integration points between SAP TM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, EWM, EM, S/4HANA).
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SAP TM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP TM certification is a significant plus
