Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA RTR Consultant to design, configure, and implement RTR on the public cloud, aligning processes with finance transformation objectives. You will lead end-to-end RTR deployments across GL, AR, AP, AA, and CO sub-modules, collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders, and mentor teams through go-live.

Ideal candidates hold 8+ years of hands-on SAP RTR experience, FI/CO expertise, and a Bachelor’s degree in IT or finance; multinational project experience

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP S/4 HANA RTR consulting experience, with cloud deployments.
• Expertise in SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, AA) and CO (COPA, COPC, PCA) modules.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end RTR processes and finance transformation best practices.
• Experience in system integrator environments managing SAP delivery projects.
• Familiarity with configuration, customization, and FI/CO integration.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/Finance or related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Overview of the Role

As an SAP S/4 HANA RTR Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Record to Report (RTR) solutions on the public cloud platform. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives, ensuring that RTR processes are aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. This is a key delivery-focused position that requires deep expertise in SAP FI/CO modules and hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud implementations.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SAP S/4 HANA RTR module implementations on the public cloud, ensuring seamless integration with finance and controlling business processes.
• Analyze and gather business requirements across Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) domains to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Configure and provide ongoing support for sub-modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
• Develop, document, and optimize business processes for RTR, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and business analysts, to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules.
• Participate in user training, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support to ensure solution adoption and business continuity.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management, and solution delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Skill Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP S/4 HANA RTR Consultant, with specific focus on public cloud implementations.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, AA) and CO (COPA, COPC, PCA) modules.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end RTR business processes and finance transformation best practices.
• Proven experience in system integrator environments, managing complex SAP delivery projects.
• Familiarity with configuration, customization, and integration of SAP FI/CO modules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• SAP S/4 HANA certification in Finance or Controlling modules is preferred.
• Experience with multinational clients or large-scale SAP rollout projects.
