Job summary

Atos is seeking a SAP FICO Solution Architect to lead migrations to S/4HANA and modernize R2R processes. You will design scalable financial solutions, template futures, and support go-live activities across client environments.

You will collaborate with finance teams, drive process improvement, and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP while coordinating with global teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect focused on R2R processes.
• Experience building client-specific process templates and baselines.
• Proven go-live support and readiness for business travel.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems, data models, and integration.
• Ability to design scalable financial solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect R2R solutions, including GL, close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance to gather requirements and improve financial reporting and compliance.
• Create and maintain solution architecture docs, data models, and integration specs.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and align with best practices.
• Guide development teams throughout implementation.
• Build templates for future rollouts and support UAT.

About The Role

SAP FICO Solution Architect responsible for migrations ECC systems for S4Hana system.

The Solution Architect - R2R will be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions related to the Record to Report processes within client financial systems. Should have good experience with template-based project and building templated for Future Rollouts. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, design effective solutions, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for R2R processes, including general ledger accounting, financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, and identify areas for improvement in financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including process flows, data models, and integration requirements.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, sustainable, and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation process.
• Responsible for building a template for Future Rollouts.
• Conduct testing and validation of R2R solutions to ensure quality and compliance with business requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to finance and accounting.
• Provide training to Key users

What We Need

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Record to Report processes.
• Build client specific process template (base) using and BPML, SAP Best practice template (APS)
• Go Live using S/4HANA Best Practice solutions
• All interactions with client/business team and focus on following activities
• Conduct workshops related to process, data etc for wave1
• Finalize 2 templates
• Help business users in UAT
• Support Go Live
• Co-ordinate between India team and client/business team for any clarifications
• Readiness to business travel
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable financial solutions that meet business needs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
