Job summary

Atos SE is seeking a SAP FICO Solution Architect to lead migrations to S/4HANA for the Record to Report domain. You will design scalable R2R templates, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure alignment with global finance standards.

The role requires extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Best Practice templates, R2R processes, and readiness to travel for client engagements. Hybrid work model with regular cross-functional interaction across finance and IT teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect focusing on Record to Report processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Best Practice templates.
• Go-Live using S/4HANA Best Practice solutions.
• Readiness to travel for business engagements.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and ERP financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect R2R solutions including GL accounting, close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements and improve financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture docs, data models, and integration requirements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and align with best practices.
• Provide guidance to development teams during implementation.
• Build templates for future rollouts and support UAT and Go-Live.

About the role:

SAP FICO Solution Architect responsible for migrations ECC systems for S4Hana system.
The Solution Architect - R2R will be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions related to the Record to Report processes within client financial systems. Should have good experience with template-based project and building templated for Future Rollouts. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, design effective solutions, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect solutions for R2R processes, including general ledger accounting, financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, and identify areas for improvement in financial reporting and compliance.
• Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation, including process flows, data models, and integration requirements.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, sustainable, and adhere to best practices and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation process.
• Responsible for building a template for Future Rollouts.
• Conduct testing and validation of R2R solutions to ensure quality and compliance with business requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to finance and accounting.
• Provide training to Key users

What we need:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on Record to Report processes.
• Build client specific process template (base) using and BPML, SAP Best practice template (APS)
• Go Live using S/4HANA Best Practice solutions
• All interactions with client/business team and focus on following activities:
• Conduct workshops related to process, data etc for wave1
• Finalize 2 templates
• Help business users in UAT
• Support Go Live
• Co-ordinate between India team and client/business team for any clarifications
• Readiness to business travel
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable financial solutions that meet business needs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
