Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an experienced SAP project professional to lead and deliver SAP implementation projects across multicultural teams. The role focuses on end-to-end project delivery, R&D collaboration, and driving transformation journeys for global market clients.

You will work within EY’s Consulting team, on challenging assignments, with opportunities to shape business visions and implement cutting-edge IT solutions. The position combines in-office and remote work in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP implementation projects and/or module configuration & support in large-scale, multicultural environments.
• Experience in end-to-end project implementation and project stream/team lead roles.
• Excellent English in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in business and organizational transformation journeys, becoming a trusted advisor in project management topics.
• Provide consultation and recommendations based on client requirements and build relationships across EY practices.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure budgets and milestones are met.
• Participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects focusing on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within R&D activities.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify best practices and SAP solutions to improve business processes.
• Report progress of R&D projects and document implementation results and post‑implementation reviews.
• Design, test, and implement SAP solutions from workshops to pilots and deployment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support clients in their business and organizational transformation journeys, becoming a trusted advisor in project management subject matters.
• Provide consultation and recommendations based on client requirements and develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
• Work with various teams to ensure that client requirements, budgets, and milestones for projects are met.
• Participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post‑implementation review.
• Design, test, and implemen SAP solutions — from workshops and pilots to proof‑of‑concepts and deployment of new or improved system features.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP implementation projects and/or module configuration & support in large-scale projects within distributed multicultural environments.
• Experience in end‑to‑end project implementation and project stream/team lead experience.
• A higher education degree, preferably in business, technology, science, or engineering.
• Excellent English language skills in written and spoken communication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint, and other project management tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel (if needed)
• French Language

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Knowledge of additional European languages, particularly German.
• Experience in change management, business analysis, and process transformations.
• Experience working at consulting companies.
• One or more industry certifications: Prince 2, PMP, Agile PM, PMI‑ACP, or SAP Activate certification.
