Job summary

SWISS KRONO Group is seeking a senior SAP Production Planning consultant to support PP/DS in a hybrid or remote Poland-based role. You’ll work on group-wide PP/DS, MRP, scheduling, and S&OP initiatives while liaising with business users and external partners.

Requires 5+ years in SAP PP/DS, SAP S/4HANA experience, and strong process consulting skills. English at B2 or higher; German is a plus. Flexible remote options and professional development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in conception, definition, customizing and implementation of SAP production planning.
• Knowledge of SAP PP and PP/DS; S/4HANA experience beneficial.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the SAP S/4HANA system landscape for production planning and PP/DS.
• Provide process consultancy, including analysis, conception, implementation and testing.
• Coordinate MRP, scheduling boards, master data and integration topics.
• Contribute to S&OP initiatives: demand and supply planning.
• Develop and improve SAP PP/DS solutions and interfaces.
• Prepare functional specs for developers and support rollouts.
• Train key users and create process documentation.

SWISS KRONO’s key success factor is the continuous optimization and automation of supply chain management, production planning and integrated business planning processes. This requires deep knowledge of integrated production planning, detailed scheduling and cross-functional SAP processes. The job holder shall provide professional consultancy in the areas of Production Planning (SAP PP/DS), support the group-wide SAP S/4HANA system landscape, and help translate business requirements into reliable, scalable solutions that support SWISS KRONO’s business strategy.

Your Tasks

• Support the group-wide SAP S/4HANA system landscape in the areas of SAP Supply chain planning (PP&PP/DS)
• Provide business process consultancy, including process analysis, solution conception, implementation and testing of SAP planning processes.
• Support production planning and detailed scheduling processes, including MRP, PP/DS heuristics, planning boards, master data and integration topics.
• Contribute to S&OP-related initiatives, including demand planning, supply planning, allocation management and scenario-based planning.
• Solve incidents and realize change requests in close collaboration with business users, key users, developers and external partners.
• Participate in projects and initiatives related to production planning, detailed scheduling and integrated business planning.
• Develop and improve existing SAP PP/DS solutions, including integration with related SAP modules, MES and external systems.
• Prepare requirements and functional specifications for developers and coordinate implementation activities.
• Test developments, support rollouts and maintain production-planning-related SAP add-ons and interfaces.
• Train key users and create process and solution documentation.
  

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in conception, definition, customizing and implementation of SAP production planning and advanced planning processes in manufacturing companies.
• Degree in Business Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or comparable professional experience.
• Professional experience with SAP PP and SAP PP/DS.
• Knowledge of SAP IBP, APO or S&OP processes is advantageous.
• Professional experience with production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, variant configuration and material flow processes.
• Knowledge of related SAP processes in QM, PM, EWM, MM, SD or MES is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environment.
• SAP S/4HANA customizing in SAP PP and PP/DS.
• SAP ECC 6 customizing knowledge.
• SAP IBP process and solution understanding.
• MS Visio or other process-flow diagram tools.
• Methodical approach and good technical understanding.
• Quick thinking and learning ability.
• English (B2 or higher), German is a plus
