Job summary

DSV is seeking an SAP MDG Functional Consultant to join the Master Data Technology team within Finance IT, Global IT. You will work with business stakeholders and IT to deliver, implement, and improve SAP MDG solutions that create value across DSV.

You will design data models, validations, workflows, and change request processes, and collaborate with developers to enable master data distribution through integrations and OData services. You will plan testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MDG including data modeling, processes, BRF+, and Fiori apps.
• Understanding of master data governance: data quality, validation, harmonization, replication.
• Experience designing MDG for hierarchy management, mass data changes, and process automation.
• Hands-on MDG implementations in data modeling, UI, and process modeling.
• Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA on premises; Cloud exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work with international and remote stakeholders and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP MDG solution recommendations and design/configure solutions.
• Gather requirements with business and IT, translate needs into MDG solutions.
• Design and configure SAP MDG data models, validations, workflows, and change requests.
• Define integrations, extensions, CDS views, and OData services for master data distribution.
• Plan and execute testing and support rollout of solutions.
• Prepare documentation and present concepts to stakeholders; support knowledge transfer.
• Provide functional support and troubleshoot SAP MDG solutions; seek improvements.
• Apply problem-solving to deliver scalable MDG solutions across DSV.
