Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a localization SAP specialist to lead CE-focused VAT and local accounting projects. You will advise on VAT, tax and reporting, and collaborate with Tax Departments to deliver country-specific SAP solutions in a multinational setting.

You will join a team that values proactive problem solving, strong communication, and the ability to manage project steps while staying current with SAP compliance developments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading localization for SAP implementations with focus on CE tax and local accounting.
• Knowledgeable in VAT, corporate tax compliance, and statutory reporting for CE countries.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP DRC implementations, rollouts and projects to deliver country-specific VAT and reporting solutions.
• Provide professional SAP advisory on VAT, tax and reporting areas for Clients.
• Collaborate with different Tax Departments to deliver high quality solutions.
• Follow each step of the project, identify risks in time, solve the problems independently.
• Monitor Client needs and stay updated with the latest SAP compliance solutions.

You have led the localization aspect of SAP implementation or rollout projects with focus on tax and local accounting requirements, especially for Central European countries

• Experience in assessing the localization requirements, preparing the localization scheme for SAP
• Knowledgeable in tax-related processes such as VAT, corporate tax compliance, and statutory reporting for Central European countries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, “can do” attitude
