Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience.
• Two full project lifecycles as SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant.
• SD/MM with strong FI integration and VAT/GST configuration.
• ABAP debugging to analyze tax calculation and interfaces.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Indirect Tax Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA, specializing in VAT/GST determination and integration across SD, MM, and FI modules. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can bridge business and IT, ensuring accurate and compliant tax processes in a complex, high-volume environment.

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and design automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA using the condition technique.
• Ensure seamless integration of tax processes across SD, MM, and FI, maintaining consistency throughout the supply chain.
• Configure and maintain interfaces between SAP and external tax engines (e.g., ONESOURCE, Sovos) for real-time tax calculation.
• Support technical setup for statutory requirements such as real-time reporting and SAF-T.
• Act as the key liaison between business and IT, translating complex tax regulations into clear functional specifications.
• Lead Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT for all tax-related developments and changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including incorrect tax calculations or failures in high-volume transaction environments and e-invoicing submissions.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP implementation experience, including at least two full project lifecycles as an SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant.
• Proven expertise in SD/MM with strong integration to FI (SAP FI knowledge is a plus).Solid experience in SAP Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) configuration, especially within complex EU tax environments in multinational companies.
• Ability to debug ABAP to analyze and resolve tax calculation and interface issues.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
