Job summary

Hitachi Energy is advancing SAP S/4HANA and standardizing IT systems to scale business growth across Europe. The SAP Process Excellence team supports European transformer factories, offering training, issue resolution, and process improvements with ~50% onsite work and ~20% travel.

The role emphasizes local R2R training, escalation of issues, and collaboration with IT to optimize SAP usage and usability. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or controlling
• 10+ years of experience in FICO and related SAP modules
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA R2R and global/template
• Experience in manufacturing and industrial services
• Excellent communication in English; additional language a plus
• Technical IT knowledge and ability to learn a new global template
• Self-motivated and able to work remote or onsite

Responsibilities

• Support local R2R SAP users as the local contact for end-user training and issue management.
• Assist with creating SAP training materials to ensure ongoing effective use of the application.
• Collaborate with factory leads and controllers to understand challenges and coordinate with central IT support to resolve SAP issues.
• Proactively address user pain points by resolving issues on the ground and ensuring clear ticket information for IT.
• Upskill key users to become go-to SAP knowledge sources at sites.
• Bridge factories and IT by communicating challenges and reporting ticket resolutions.
• Identify enhancements and develop functional requirements for development teams.
• Participate in unit testing, UAT support, and defect resolution for quality.
• Stay updated with SAP best practices and evolving R2R processes.
