Job summary

Seargin is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer in Poland to design and deliver scalable cloud data solutions for finance using SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud. You will build data models, data products, and automated pipelines within a Data Mesh framework.

The role requires deep SQL/Python skills, hands-on SAP Datasphere/S/4HANA expertise, and experience in large-scale Agile environments with global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in cloud data warehousing and data engineering, with understanding of modern cloud architecture migration.
• Proficiency in SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA with hands-on experience developing reporting solutions and finance data products.
• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Data Mesh, including decentralization, data-as-a-product, and federated governance.
• Proficiency designing enterprise-grade reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud and the SAC Excel Add-in.
• Strong development skills in SQL and Python for data engineering, data modeling, transformations, scripting, and automation.
• Solid understanding of the S/4HANA finance model, including Universal Journal and ACDOCA structures and their reporting impact.
• Experience or strong baseline knowledge of SAP Joule or equivalent AI copilot tools for improving development workflows and productivity.
• Experience in large-scale Agile frameworks with strong analytical, communication, and global stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex finance reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable cloud data solutions.
• Design and implement scalable cloud data models and data products in SAP Datasphere aligned with Data Mesh principles.
• Develop advanced finance reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and the SAC Excel Add-in.
• Use Python and SQL to build robust data pipelines, transformations, automations, and reusable data engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with global business and IT teams within large-scale Agile project environments to deliver data solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure finance data solutions meet accuracy, performance, and usability expectations.
• Apply cloud data warehousing, decentralized architecture, Data Mesh, and AI-driven analytics best practices to improve solutions.
