Job summary

Gebauer & Griller in Gliwice seeks a Senior Demand Planning professional to analyze sales plan data, forecast drivers, and market insights. You will collaborate with Demand Planners and Key Account Managers to align inputs for monthly S&OP and drive data-driven decisions.

You will support automation of reporting using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW and Kinaxis, delivering regular and ad-hoc analyses across Sales, Operations and Finance. Hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales analytics or S&OP roles, ideally within an international industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with forecasting data and large data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with Sales, Operations and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze sales plan data, historical trends, order intake, and customer forecasts for monthly forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners to align on demand assumptions and forecast drivers.
• Independently analyze customer and market data and consult with Key Account Managers to review inputs.
• Participate in monthly demand and S&OP review meetings with Sales, Operations, and Finance stakeholders.
• Support automation and digitalization of sales reporting globally using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses to stakeholders and improve existing reports.

Job description

• Review and analyze sales plan data, historical sales trends, order intake, and customer forecasts to ensure accuracy and completeness regarding monthly forecast process.
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planners in production plants to align on demand assumptions, forecast drivers, and key business changes impacting demand planning.
• Independently analyze customer and market data, including insights from customer portals and order patterns, and consult with Key Account Managers to review and confirm sales plan inputs based on this analysis.
• Participate in monthly demand and S&OP review meetings involving stakeholders from Sales, Operations, and Finance.
• Support automation and digitalization of sales reporting landscape globally through various tools and software such as Power Bi, SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Warehouse.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis to various stakeholders.
• Improve existing and establish new reports and analysis to support decision making.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, controlling, supply chain management, data analytics, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in Demand Planning, Sales analytics or S&OP roles, ideally within an international industrial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to work with forecasting data and large data sets.
• Practical experience with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, Kinaxis, or comparable reporting and planning tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of statistical forecasting methods and key forecasting KPIs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and confidence in interacting with Sales, Operations and Finance teams.
• Fluent in English.
