Job summary

Link Group is seeking a QA specialist to drive manual testing for our web-based SaaS platforms. You will design and execute test cases, validate API integrations, and ensure data integrity across systems. You will document outcomes, log defects, and work with developers to re-test fixes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on QA experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with Jira. The role requires collaboration in an agile environment and a readiness to start ASAP.

Qualifications

• QA Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in manual testing of web-based applications or SaaS platforms.
• API & Data Flow Testing: Proven experience testing API integrations and validating cross-system data flow.
• Test Documentation: Ability to author and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Tools: Proficiency with bug tracking and agile tools (e.g., Jira).
• Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong Plus: Direct experience with laboratory informatics systems ex. LIMS
• Integration Testing: Execute manual test cases for integration workflows pushing and pulling data between systems
• End-to-End Data Validation: Validate data fidelity across systems, confirming that records created, updated, or transferred appear accurately in both Benchling and LatchBio user interfaces.
• Defect Tracking: Document test results, log defects with clear, concise reproduction steps, and manage bugs through to resolution.
• Dev Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and re-test fixes.
• Agile Contribution: Participate actively in sprint ceremonies, test planning, and effort estimation.
• Process Improvement: Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend continuous QA process improvements.
