Job summary

Reffine in Warsaw is seeking a mid/senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a long-term collaboration to build new products and improve our CMS and Stock Management System, both mature and well-maintained.

You should write clean, scalable Ruby code, learn new technologies, and integrate with external APIs. The role involves simple frontend work, exploring AI, and collaborating with a team using CI/CD and pair programming.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Mid-level or higher with strong communication in Polish and English (B2+).
• Proficiency with Rails-based backend and frontend basics.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features in both new and existing projects.
• Refactor and optimize code for maintainability and performance.
• Influence the tech stack by proposing new tools when sensible.
• Contribute to product development with ideas and feedback.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

We're looking for a mid/senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a long-term collaboration who'll help us build new products and improve our existing ones (CMS, Stock Management System - both are mature and well-maintained).

If you're able to:

• Write clean and scalable code in Ruby
• Learn new technologies
• Integrate with external providers (APIs)
• Implement simple frontend where needed
• Vibe-code some prototypes using technologies you might not be an expert in - but still enjoy exploring

We care about code quality (we have code reviews, CI/CD and pair programming sessions) and a good atmosphere at work. We put a lot of effort on exploring AI capabilities in making our daily work easier, faster and more fun.

What we're looking for:

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in Ruby on Rails
• We are looking for someone with mid-level experience or higher
• Communicative proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum of B2 level

• Implementing new features (in new projects developed from scratch but also in existing projects - all of them are developed by us)
• Refactoring and optimizing existing code
• Having an impact on the tech stack (we're open to introducing new technologies when it makes sense)
• Contributing to product development (we welcome ideas for improving our products)
• Performing code reviews
