Job Description

Nomtek is a software development agency dedicated to creating mobile, and XR applications in a short time-to-market setup. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack (Node.js + React.js) Developer to help us grow our expertise in the web development space.

The role leans more toward backend responsibilities than frontend ones, ideally with AWS experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable fullstack applications using Node.js (backend) and React.js/Next.js (frontend).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, other developers and testers to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and support other developers, ensuring best coding practices, high standards and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Support pre-sales activities by collaborating with the sales team to evaluate opportunities, define technical requirements, engage with clients, propose solutions, prepare POCs, and support scoping, budgeting, and timelines.

Requirements

• Professional experience working as a Fullstack Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and associated frameworks/libraries.
• Frontend development skills using React.js and Next.js, including hooks, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and component-based architecture.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (ideally AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha).
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Very good level of Polish (at least C1) and English (B2+)

Nice to have:

• Experience with React Native
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to serverless frameworks and event-driven design patterns.
• Interest or experience in AI-driven applications, including familiarity with LLMs (Large Language Models), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI integration into web apps.
