Job summary

ISS A/S is seeking an experienced RTR Associate for its newly established Global Finance Service Centre in Gdańsk. You will handle journal entries, cost allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires 2+ years RTR experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent English. Hybrid work in the center of Gdańsk with opportunities for professional development and advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or in final year of studies.
• 2+ years RTR experience.
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Very good English knowledge (speech and writing).
• Experience with outsourced Finance SSC is preferable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Process standard and recurring journal entries in accordance with accounting policies.
• Execute cost allocation entries based on predefined rules and schedules.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct month-end close quality checks and supporting documentation.
• Manage user access rights in NAV@ISS ensuring internal controls.

Main purpose of the position:

To our newly established Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for an experienced RTR Associate who will provide front office transactional RTR services to the business. The role focuses on processing journal entries and cost allocations, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting access control in NAV@ISS. The RTR Associate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by facilitating high-quality month-end close activities and conducting accounting quality assurance. The position also involves handling post-close queries and promoting best practices in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

What will you do:

• Journal Entries: Process standard and recurring journal entries in accordance with accounting policies
• Cost Allocations: Execute cost allocation entries based on predefined rules and schedules
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Month-End Close: Conduct accounting quality assurance checks during month-end close activities
• Access Control: Manage user access rights in NAV@ISS system, ensuring compliance with internal controls

Professional skills you possess:

• A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies
• 2+ years RTR experience
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
• Prior experience of working with an outsourced Finance Shared Service Centre is preferable but not mandatory
• Be a team player, with a problem-solving attitude, and high interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic international work environment
