Job summary

Flex Wind is seeking a Rope Access Blade Technician to inspect, assess, and repair wind turbine blades across Europe. You will work within experienced international teams, delivering high-quality blade repair solutions while adhering to safety and project timelines.

The role requires IRATA certification, travel readiness, and a good command of English. Based in Europe with long-term project assignments and rotation patterns, accommodation and PPE are covered.

Qualifications

• Blade repair or composite/laminating experience required.
• IRATA certification (Level 1/2/3) must be held.
• Good level of English is required.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in rotations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wind turbine blades and assess their condition.
• Document damage and plan repairs with reports.
• Perform blade repairs to industry standards within deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment; complete service reports.

About The Role - Rope Access Blade Technician

Flex Wind delivers complete wind turbine installation and blade repair solutions across Europe and South America.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess the technical condition of wind turbine blades
• Identify, document, and report damage and repair activities
• Perform high-quality blade repairs in accordance with industry standards and project deadlines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Complete accurate service reports and technical documentation

Requirements

• Valid IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in blade repair or composite/laminating work
• Experience with OEMs such as Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, or Enercon is an advantage
• Good physical condition and confidence working at heights
• Willingness to travel internationally and work in rotational systems
• Good level of English
• Valid Category B driving license
