Job summary

PREEN Technologies in Zurich or remote across Europe is seeking a Robotics & Controls Engineer to own the industrial automation core of our washbay, including the 7-axis robot system and PLC. You will configure, calibrate and optimise motion, and ensure safe, reliable operation around vehicles.

You will collaborate with software and commissioning teams, contribute to CE safety concepts, and support on-site deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial automation with robots and PLCs.

Responsibilities

Set up and configure 7-axis robot system: calibration, TCP, payload.
Define safe operating envelope and motion constraints.
Optimize robot motion in washbay around vehicles.
Own PLC programming for washbay sequencing and interlocks.
Contribute to safety concept and CE certification with external safety experts.
Support commissioning remotely and on-site; feed learnings to standard configuration.
Collaborate with software team on robot/PLC interface: state machines, handshakes, fault recovery, telemetry.
