Job summary

PayU is seeking an experienced risk management professional to strengthen ICT risk, business continuity, and regulatory reporting within a fast-growing fintech environment. You will analyze risks, maintain procedures, and collaborate with first- and second-line defense teams to support operational resilience.

The role requires fluent English and Polish, a strong understanding of risk management processes, and knowledge of KNF and DORA regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in risk management.
• A college degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position at a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Risk identification and assessment, risk monitoring and reporting.
• Preparing and updating risk management procedures and policies.
• Collecting and analyzing data from first- and second-line defense units.
• Conducting vertical testing as part of risk monitoring.
• Managing operational risk events, including ICT incidents.
• Managing business continuity, including testing.
• Collaborating with other teams in the first and second lines of defense.
• Analyzing risk trends and patterns at PayU.
• Preparing and updating the risk map at PayU.
• Preparing and updating the list of processes at PayU.
• Reporting on ICT risks to the regulator.
• Administering an incident management support system.

Responsibilities & key activities

• Risk identification and assessment, risk monitoring and reporting,
• Preparing and updating risk management procedures and policies,
• Collecting and analyzing data provided by first- and second-line defense units in the context of riskidentification and assessment,
• Conducting vertical testing as part of risk monitoring,
• Managing operational risk events, including managing ICT incidents,
• Managing the Company’s business continuity, including conducting periodic business continuitytests,
• Collaborating with other teams in the first and second lines of defense,
• Analyzing risk trends and patterns at PayU,
• Preparing and regularly updating the risk map at PayU,
• Preparing and updating the list of processes at PayU,
• Reporting on ICT risks to the regulator,
• Administering an incident management support system.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in risk management,
• A college degree in a relevant field,
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position at a financial institution.

Skills & Knowledge

• A strong understanding of the risk management process,
• Knowledge of the KNF recommendations regarding risk management,
• Knowledge of the DORA regulation,
• Fluent professional English and Polish,
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
