Job summary

Danske Bank is seeking a Risk & Controls professional to strengthen its testing and control framework within operational risk. You will support the Controls Office to ensure controls are designed and operated effectively, with a hybrid work arrangement across Vilnius or Warsaw.

The role requires 2+ years in non-financial risk or control operations, strong English communication, and knowledge of governance or compliance processes in banking. A Nordic language is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in non-financial risk management, operational risks and/or control operations.
• Ability to identify risk drivers and trends, with process and control improvement opportunities.
• Advanced written and verbal communication in English.
• Higher education; knowledge of any Nordic language beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret test results to highlight effective practices and improvements across business areas.
• Develop and implement control operations to mitigate operational and data risks, including test scripts and frequency.
• Identify opportunities for automation for key controls and collaborate with Controls Office teams.
• Support escalation of results and monitoring for Senior Management and Governing Risk Committees.
