Job summary

Bosch is seeking a System Engineer to join our global infrastructure team. You will manage large-scale virtualization and Linux environments, develop automation, and oversee x86 hardware and storage lifecycles. The role offers hybrid work arrangements and exposure to enterprise-grade technologies across regions.

The ideal candidate has strong VMware, Linux, and scripting skills, plus a proactive approach to security and observability. Excellent collaboration in a global team is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong hands-on VMware vSphere/vCenter and vSAN experience.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu/Debian).
• Proficient scripting and automation (Ansible, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with storage concepts (SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI).
• English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve global virtualization environment including vSAN and vCenter.
• Manage Linux servers at scale (RHEL, Ubuntu/Debian).
• Develop automation and IaC via Ansible and scripts.
• Handle x86 hardware lifecycle and vendor coordination.
• Administer enterprise storage integrations (SAN/NAS).
• Analyze root causes and coordinate with vendors.
• Implement security hardening and AD/Kerberos integration.
• Expand monitoring with Grafana, Nagios, Icinga.
• Provide SME guidance to project teams.
