AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a hands-on TypeScript engineer to own technical delivery across a product, with potential contributions to a React/Electron UI in the early months.

You will run focused spikes, evaluate options, and validate AI-assisted implementations while maintaining clear communication with the team in a European overlap environment. The role emphasizes independent ownership, technical decision-making, and collaboration across front-end, CI/CD, and C++ components.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on TypeScript engineering skills with at least 3 years experience and ability to own technical delivery independently.
• Product-engineering mindset: derive progress from incomplete requirements and seek alignment on decisions.
• Critical thinking and clear technical communication; ability to question teammates and AI outputs.
• Ability to review unfamiliar code, identify defects, explain trade-offs, and validate AI-assisted implementations.
• Availability for European team overlap and reliable asynchronous communication during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Own the product's technical development from high-level goals to implemented features.
• Potentially contribute to a new React/Electron UI during initial months.
• Run short research spikes (1-3 days) and present options, risks, and recommendations.
• Use Claude Code to accelerate implementation while validating AI outputs.
• Communicate progress and blockers through Slack; publish schedules and be reachable.
• Contribute to adjacent CI/CD, front-end, or C++ package work as needed.
